Delete your Thore account

You can delete your Thore account and its data at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Delete it in the app

• Web: sign in, go to Settings → Account → Delete account, and confirm.
• Android: open the app, go to Settings → Delete account, and confirm.

Request deletion by email

If you can no longer sign in, email us from the address on your account at thore.app@proton.me with the subject “Delete my account”. We verify ownership before deleting.

What is deleted

• Your profile (username, display name, bio, avatar and banner).
• Your posts, comments, reactions, reposts and saved posts.
• Your follows and followers relationships.
• Your direct messages and message encryption keys.
• Your notifications, settings and push tokens.

Retention

After deletion, content is removed from the live service immediately. Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged on our regular backup rotation (within 30 days). We may retain a minimal record only where the law requires it.
