Terms of Use — Thore

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Thore application ("Thore", "the Service"), operated under the name Thore, based in Latvia, European Union. By creating an account or using Thore you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Thore. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your account

  • You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your

    • credentials and your messages passcode secure.

  • One person may operate multiple accounts, but you may not impersonate others

    • or create accounts to evade bans or abuse the Service.

  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Your content

  • You retain ownership of the content you post.
  • By posting, you grant Thore a limited, non-exclusive license to store,

    • display, and transmit your content solely to operate the Service (e.g. showing your posts to your followers). This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for content already shared with others or retained briefly in backups.

  • You are solely responsible for the content you post and must have the rights

    • to share it.

4. Acceptable use — zero tolerance for abuse

You agree not to post, send, or share content that:

  • is illegal, or promotes illegal acts;
  • is harassing, hateful, threatening, or incites violence against people or

    • groups;

  • is sexually explicit involving minors, or any child sexual abuse material

    • (this is reported to authorities);

  • is spam, fraudulent, or a scam;
  • infringes others' intellectual property or privacy;
  • contains malware or attempts to compromise the Service or other users;
  • impersonates another person or misrepresents your affiliation.

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. We provide tools to block users and report content, and we will review reports and remove violating content and/or remove the responsible users.

5. Moderation & enforcement

  • We may review reported content and take action, including removing content,

    • limiting features, or suspending/terminating accounts.

  • We may act on egregious violations without prior notice.
  • Reports of objectionable content are acted upon promptly.

6. Privacy & encryption

Your use of Thore is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Direct messages are end-to-end encrypted; we cannot read them. This also means we cannot moderate the content of encrypted private messages — abuse in messages should be handled by blocking the sender and, where appropriate, reporting to authorities.

7. Service availability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content/messages will always be recoverable (for example, encrypted messages cannot be recovered without your passcode).

8. Termination

You may stop using Thore and delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.

9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Thore is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, or for user-generated content. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Latvia and the European Union, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
